John is the Director of the TRENZ Homes network. John brings a wealth of knowledge having over 40 years experience in the housing industry with the last 22 years being self employed. Formerly the founder of The House Company, Johns passion is selling houses!
Outside work John can be found watching the All Blacks, spending time with his kids and grandkids or on the deck in the sun!
Name: Leah Maple
Leah is one of the Quantity Surveyors for TRENZ Homes.
Leah is a Northland local, having been born and raised in Whangarei. She has an extensive background in high level administration, project management, and sales. Leah first became interested in the construction industry when working in the Strategic Projects Office at Northland DHB, assisting with major capital projects. She then worked on a number of DHB construction projects including repurposing an office block for mental health patients, installing a new MRI machine, and refurbishing the ED triage area. Leah then spent 18 months in a business sales role, before jumping at the opportunity to work for TRENZ.
Having recently moved into her own TRENZ home, Leah understands the excitement of planning a new home and watching the building come to completion. In her spare time, Leah can be found enjoying the Northland outdoors - camping, fishing and horse-riding.
Name: Selena Kirk
Selena Kirk has been a part ot TRENZ Homes for 3 years now, in an Operations Adminstration role.
Outside of work Selena enjoys time with her family, whether it be at home on their lifestyle block with her husband and 3 children, playing hockey and assisting running their local JMC hockey club, camping, horse riding - anything to do with the outdoors really!
Name: Cherie Burdett
I am looking forward to making the move to the Winterless North and starting work with the TRENZ team. I have been working in different areas of construction & property management for the past 5 years while studying part time for a Project Management qualification.
Outside of work I enjoy staying active whether it be boxing classes, bush walks horse riding and surf lessons. I also enjoy relaxing in the evening with a good wine or heading out socailising with family and friends.
Name: Gareth Osborne
Gareth was born and bred in Whangarei and has had over 30 years in the building industry. Gareth qualified as a Quantity Surveyor in his early twenties and then went onto running the family building company for 10 years, constructing 50 plus houses per year. During that time Gareth was voted in as New Zealand’s youngest regional Master Builders (Northland) President.
Gareth has held a number of senior positions in various building companies and franchise support offices over the years, gaining extensive knowledge in all aspects of the building industry (sales, pricing, contract negotiations, ordering, project management). His last position was Area Sales Manager for a major supplier, overseeing their trade business from Pokeno to the Cape with an $80million dollar turn over.
In his spare time Gareth enjoys spending time with his wife & five kids, working around his life style block and riding his Harley Davidson.
Name: Christine Smith
Christine is the Finance Administrator for TRENZ Homes:. Her main focus is looking after the accounts at TRENZ Homes.
Outside of work she loves the outdoors, walks for miles and goes to the Gym and Pilates.
Christine also loves socialising with friends, watching the All Blacks, spending time with the family and spoiling the grand kids.
Name: Jemimah Walker
Jemimah Walker is originally from Fiji. Home is Auckland with a big move to Whangarei in 2013. Jemimah comes to TRENZ Homes with 15 years of customer service experience from hospitality to finance & credit management roles and is looking forward to learning about the building & kitset home industry.
Outside of work Jemimah leads a busy life with her husband and 3 young children, downtime when it does become available is spent out socialising with friends & enjoying the great outdoors doing hikes up the local mounts, trips to the beach and enjoying the beautiful Whangarei scenary.
